Agreed.
In addition, the problematic nature of Stability’s user agreement should be made clear before folks just pay up to get usable corrections.

James, I am thinking On1 is trying to make a cleaner user interface and thus has somewhat change the interface. To see the resize, print and export tools, locate the top menu bar, select window, and select, show right bumper. The tools appear at screen right. To see the tool’s text go to menu bar/window/show bumper labels.
For those of you who use brushes and miss the FLOW tool you can access it by the left tool well/masking brush tool icon. Use the top menu bar icon/drop down menu/properties and select FLOW. I myself like to brush my “effects” most of the time. Try using a flow of 10%. With a flow of 10% you can slowly build up the effect by repeating the brush stroke. Flow is a great tool and very easy to use. Do not confuse Flow with Opacity. I wish ON1 would put FLOW back up into the top tool menu bar like iin the old version for easy access. Note: rarely has FLOW been mentioned or used by any of the ON1 people in their publicity, same with the Youtube people. Try it for your masking by simply brushing your desired effects. And remember, once you have brushed your strokes you can always use the OPACITY tool to downsize the effect if you go to far. By brushing repeatedly this slowly builds up your effects, thus, I start with a low 10% Flow. Opacity is an overall tool and you cannot build-up an effect like with the Flow tool. Opacity limits the Flow tool. For example if you set Opacity to 80%, no matter how many brushes you do using Flow to build up your effect, the effect will be limited to 80%. Try it.

I realise they are competing against Adobe but I feel they try to introduce too many ‘improvements’ at once. Fewer new innovations might help them to ensure that the new stuff actually works for those of us who don’t possess the top of the range computers they use at On1.
I also have the 16G RAM memory but the On1 software makes my PC quite slow.

I can’t see me giving up on Lightroom any time soon unless On1 eradicate all the glitches that seem to accompany any new release.

I agree with your comments regarding Power Line Removal. On the image I had open, the lines were mostly removed but left behind blurry remnants which defeated the whole object of trying to remove them in the first place.
I also agree with your comments about improving the basic product instead of listening to smug presenters telling us how wonderful the new features are which, in fact, do not work very well or at all.
I cannot remember the last time a new version of Photo RAW worked as promised. I always end up contacting Support to try and get it working as it should! And PR 2025 is no exception, the new Generative Eraser freezes the screen and I have to use Task Manager to get back to square one.

On 2025 the export menu is gone from the right side, and I cannot find any tool groups much less the generative erase button. This actually has less features than the 2024 version!

So clearly something went wrong in the setup or there is something I need to know to make these things appear.

Please help!

I have bought this software every year for several years now, and im sure its just some bug or a failure to enable a panel or something but I need help please I have spent a lot of time watching videos and trying to follow but it is impossible as there is little to no relationship between the buttons I have and the stuff you say to do.

Not a wonderful endorsement!

Well then you are fortunate because my Mac Mini 2014 fails to produce any acceptable results!
I have ordered a new Mac Mini M4 so it should work on that but that is £600 extra paid just to run the new software.

I honestly do not agree with your comments. I love the fact that ON1 is progressive in it’s introduction of new features. They are competing with Adobe so they need to keep moving forward at a reasonable pace. I have a Dell PC that is 10+ years old and it works beautifully with ON1 2025. I have 16 of RAM and I am not having any problems.

I had used Photoshop/Lightroom for many years but moved away to ON1. I am glad I did!

Power line removal (correction reduction) is a mess that leaves remnants or actually makes the corrected version worse than the original. The features don’t work at all if you have an older machine and then you are forced to shell out more money to use Stability AI with no guaranteed results either ! In addition ON1 is getting bigger and needs more and more memory to operate at a half decent speed. I wish ON1 would just concentrate on improving the product rather than boasting about super wonderful features that just plain do not work properly.

You look quite red on my calibrated BenQ.
And, speaking of distractions, there are a lot of lights reflected off of Dan’s glasses. What kind of lighting are you using?
And, again, does the generative Ai work only on JPGs? Or on RAW as well?
These comments are submitted with respect. You have a fantastic program and want to completely move over to On1. Want to make sure On1 is able to do a precise job for me.
